Recover PS3 saves?

I know this sounds a little less problematic than it actually is. But I can't quite remember what I was trying to do, but in the process I accidentally deleted the “saves” folder on my Minecraft disc, rendering it unplayable of course.

The “saves” menu doesn't load and it just has a loading symbol indefinitely. My friend and I had a really good world, and we got probably the luckiest spawn ever. I had two mushroom biomes right next to each other and we spawned in a village really close to the mushroom biomes.

I'd really like to get my world back, and if that's not possible, at least fix the disc to make it usable again. Any help would be SUPER appreciated, as I lost this file over 3 years ago and have been looking for a way to get it back since I deleted it.
